POPAI Hall of Fame Induction

Harbor Industries, Inc. is pleased to announce Ted Parker's induction into the POPAI Hall of Fame.  The POPAI Hall of Fame is an industry lifetime achievement award honoring individuals who have worked in the marketing at-retail industry for over 25 years.  Ted's goal has always been to be the PREEMINENT LEADER in our industry and our communities, and we remain as committed as ever to this endeavor.

Ted began his career at Harbor in 1960.   He took over as President in 1971.  Under his leadership, Harbor has been honored with numerous community and industry awards. Harbor was named SBA Family Owned Business of the year in May of 2009.  Harbor has been the recipient of the 101 Best and Brightest Places to Work for 6 years running.   Harbor has been named as a Partner in Progress by Sears in 1999, 2003 and 2004.  In 2004, Harbor received the Partner's in Progress award as well as the Innovative Supplier of the Year award.  Because of Ted's involvement and commitment to the community, he was honored by the local Chamber of Commerce for his community service and received the Chamber's Lifetime Achievement Award for 2006.

Ted has been a leader in the industry.  He has served on the POPAI board as a director. Ted was an instrumental part in Harbor's membership in Global Instore Communications. GIC is an international organization which Harbor has been a member of since 1996.
