Dekor company co-operates with Icebreaker, a world-wide brand, on a global scale.

During its existence company Dekor s.r.o. has become one of the market leaders in the field of POP advertising and in-store communication not only in the Czech Republic, but it is breaking through also on foreign markets, where it co-operates with partners on projects both on a European and global scale. Global-scale supplies and services provided to Icebreaker, a world-wide brand, is an example of such a co-operation.

Icebreaker, a company based in New Zealand, focuses on the sale of outdoor clothing made of wool (T-shirts, sweatshirts, sweaters, jackets, socks, underwear etc.). The achievements of this brand and its expansion stem from the exceptionality and uniqueness of its offer. The wool bears the "Merino" name and for its production New Zealand's manufacturers use the wool of sheep grazing on virgin mountainous pastures. The Merino name is derived from the “Merino sheep”, which refers to a special breed of sheep kept especially in New Zealand.
The philosophy of the brand is based on values such as a harmonic relationship with the countryside, friendly approach towards the environment, and top quality and natural character of the products. “A relationship with nature and with each other" is the basis of one of the company's marketing programs.

Icebreaker began expanding onto other markets in Europe and North America four years ago; nowadays it is developing its activities in other countries, such as Japan. In connection with the expansion of the company’s activities, Icebreaker was seeking a strong partner in the field of development, production and services for its complete range of POP stands as well as other equipment for their stores and this was the origin of the company's co-operation with Dekor. At the initial stage Dekor provided Icebreaker with services in Europe. However, the supplies and services provided by Dekor expanded to other foreign markets even on other continents over the following two years and nowadays Dekor provides for complete production, servicing and logistic services for Icebreaker's global sales network.

The success of this co-operation is proved by Icebreaker’s decision to move its production of in-store communication means from China and the USA to the Czech Republic, for reasons of quality and flexibility of response to new requirements.

The materials used include varnished MDF, laminate, metal, aluminum, various types of lighting fixtures, plastic and many different print technologies. High quality products and flexible services are simply commonplace with Dekor.

As a matter of interest, one may mention the fact that Pavel Bém, the Mayor of Prague, was wearing Icebreaker underwear while climbing the world's highest mountain, Mount Everest, and appreciated its outstanding properties.

The new contract worth several million euros for supplies in 2008 and 2009, which was concluded at the beginning of September 2007, may serve as another example of satisfaction with our co-operation.

Dekor believes that this type of global-scale co-operation with a company based on the other hemisphere is a great challenge and an ample source of experience that the company will make use of in other similar projects implemented with other customers.
